Einstein Study on Centenarians — Characteristics

April 16, 2010

A few days ago on our Facebook page, we noted that  To Age or Not To Age director, Robert Kane Pappas, recently interviewed Gerontologist, Dr. Nir Barzilai of the Institute of Aging Research at Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Dr. Barzilai studied 500 individuals who lived for 100 or more years. Almost all of them smoked. Some of them for 90 years. We asked our followers to tell us what they thought was the reason for the good health and long life of the participants in Dr. Barzilai’s study.   Click on the link below to a clip from the interview to hear Dr. Barzilai comment on characteristics of the subjects.
